Born in 1962 in Lima, Peru, Silvana Graf is the daughter of a Peruvian mother and an Italian father. As a young person, she enjoyed writing poems, prose, and short essays; an interest that is now bearing fruit 48 years later. Before returning to creative writing, Silvana pursued environmental law & policy, photography, interior design, commercial real estate, property management, motherhood, philanthropy… the list goes on.

Silvana feels most at home in Ann Arbor, Michigan; a place that taught her to love the four seasons and the outdoors.

Her diverse experiences, research, practice, and unique journey qualify her to speak on the truths of experience, the self, the natural world, and how they are all intertwined with mindfulness.
